This morning we recieved some exciting news! Both my companion and I were almost certain that she was going to be transferred because she has been in Cauquenes for 3 months now, but guess what? I am the one that will be leaving! Early tomorrow morning I will travel to Concepcion to meet my new companion Hermana Wallace (I think she is from Arizona) and then head to my new sector in Talcahuano. I will be right next to the beach! WHOOHOO! Although I love Cauquenes, I am excited for a change and know that each area I am in is for a specific reason. It will be fun to live in a house with 4 Hermanas. I think we are the only Hermanas is our whole zone.
This week I have developed such a strong testimony of prayer. I know that my Heavenly Father loves and knows me. He has created a perfect plan for me and my family and I have so much trust and surety that he is in control. I know that God is always listening and wants to hear from us so that he can bless us with the strength that we need. He loves us so much that he sent his son Jesus Christ to atone for each and every one of us, and through his sacrifice we can become perfected in him. I know my Savior also loves me and that he understands every difficulty I may be experiencing.
One of my favorite quotes is, (Everything you are learning now is preparing you for something else) It is true that each day we are being more prepared to face something in the future. This life is a time for the Lord to shape us until we become who he would like us to be. As we are given trials in this life, we are changed and refined. I have never felt so much trust in my Heavenly Father. I know that as I give my will to his the Savior will carry me through the hard times and help me to see the light in the darkness.
Thank you for all of your love, support, and prayers. I look forward to hearing from you next week.
Con Mucho Amor,
