Well it has been an absolutely amazing week in my new sector. I am SO blessed to have such a wonderful companion. Her name is Hermana Blau and is from Missouri. She is about to end her mission after this cambio so she has a lot of experience and I am learning so much from her every day. As an Hermana Leader, I have a lot more responsibilities. We are in charge of calling all of the hermanas each week to see how they are doing and always have to be ready to help them with anything. We also do mini-cambios with them where one of us stays in our sector while the other companion goes to their sector so we can evaluate how everything is going and set goals with them to improve. I have even less extra time now than before, but I feel so happy being able to serve so many other missionaries. Hermana Blau and I have a lot of great ideas to help motivate the Hermanas.
I was very lucky to come into my sector at this time. We have an investigator named Leslie that is going to be married on Friday and will soon after be baptized. Her soon to be husband is a member and is hoping to baptize her so it is going to be a very special experience. This week everyone is going to be running around like crazy trying to organize everything for the wedding. I am excited! I have never experienced something like this in the mission.
The ward I am in is very welcoming and I already love the people here SO much! It is amazing to see how much I have learned and grown during my time in the mission. It seems that each day I am becmoing more and more consecrated to the work as I strive to give all of my attention, time, and strength to the Lord`s work. I know we are going to see many miracles this coming cambio.
I want you all to know how much I love you! Sharing the message of the gospel truly brings happiness and following its principals is the way that we can continue progressing in this life until we reach life eternal.
Thank you all for you love, prayers, and support. I hope you have a wonderful week! I am praying for you every single day!!
Con mucho amor,
Hermana Parkin
