Aside from that there have been a lot of good things this week too! Wednesday we had a special conference for all the Hermanas in our zone. It helped me remember that my calling is sacred and very specific for me. I know I am here with my companion at this time for a very specific purpose. Also on Friday the branch had a fun activity all day to celebrate 18 de septiembre! I learned how to dance the Cuaqua (National chilean dance). There were a lot of games for the kids and there was also a baptism for one of the boys in the branch. Attending a baptism after being a missionary for 2 months has really changed my perspecitve on the great importance of that step.
We still havent been able to get any of our investigators to church. It`s hard for people to keep commitments here, but we are going to keep trying. Also, I recieved a call from the office last week, and was informed that I get to travell to Concepción for a new missionary conference tomorrow and will be staying over two nights! It will be good to have a little change and get a lot my questions answered.
I feel so extremely blessed to be where I am right now. It is such a privelage to be a missionary! Thank you all for your love, support, encouragement, and prayers. It means more that you could ever know!
Have a wonderful week!!!
con mucho amor,
Hermana Parkin
